An ad that has nothing to do with Roblox
Available since 2004 in beta version and since the following year in its full version, Roblox is a free-to-play MMO, i.e. available for free. This is a so-called “sandbox” game, in which users can create their own games and experiences, before sharing them online so other players can try it out.
The app therefore offers particularly varied content, but supposed to be minimally controlled: a majority of the players are relatively young. Suffice to say, that’s not where you should find sexually explicit content, but that’s what almost happened to Kim Kardashian’s son.
It’s every child’s nightmare: discovering a sex tape of their own mother online. That’s what almost happened to Saint West, one of the American reality TV star’s children, who, him, had the misfortune to come across an advertisement supposed to lead him to a “new sex tape” of his parent.
Kim Kardashian may sue Roblox Corporation
The studio behind Roblox, Roblox Corporation, has already been criticized for not sufficiently ensuring the safety of its players on its famous MMO. But this time, it seems that the firm risks being dragged into court. In any case, this is what Kim Kardashian suggests in a press release. She asserts that she has “all the time, all the money and all the necessary resources” to lash out at the studio after her six-year-old son, Saint West, found himself faced with an ad promising him access to a sex tape of his mother.
