The Boys season 3, soon to be back on our screens
The appointment is given. On June 3, 2022, fans of The Boys will be able to discover the first three episodes of the sequel to the satirical series on Prime Video. Recently, the streaming platform shared the trailer for this new salvo and it promises even more crazy, gory and violent scenes than in previous seasons! Homelander, Starlight and the others take always care to shine in front of the cameras at the various events hosted by Vought, but behind the scenes, tensions between the Seven only escalate. The son of the leader of the Seven should also be on the front of the stage, hoping that he masters his powers more than in season 2 of The Boys… Another revelation of this trailer: Billy Butcher now has powers! Did he take Compound V or was he overpowered from the start? We will have to wait for the release of season 3 to have the answer … The sequel obviously has not forgotten either the Fishman (The Deep in VO), played on screen by Chace Crawford.
Chace Crawford talks about his biggest fear at the end of season 3 of The Boys
In an interview given to Entertainment Weeklyhe confided his fear of never finding a job at the end of this third season of The Boys. “I don’t know how I’m going to be able to work after this”, he revealed. The reason ? His character should do even crazier things than before… The trailer for season 3 of The Boys moreover offers us a glimpse of it: the Man-Pisces is shown in full sexual intercourse with a woman, when his gaze seems to cross that of a crustacean which attracts him a lot ! After talking with his gills, hiding in the lifeless body of a cetacean… what epic sequences will make the glory of the Man-Fish?
The role of the Fishman even more controversial in season 3?
If he did not want to give further details on the intrigues which concern his character, he nevertheless admitted that it was going to happen several things he describes as “weird”. This echoes what he confided in 2019 to our colleagues from Tele-Leisure : the actor had said “always be up for any dirty trick from the writers”. He was obviously taken at his word… Season 3 of The Boys will be available from June 3 on Prime Video, but in the meantime, it is still possible to see or review the animated series The Boys: Diabolical also showrun by Eric Kripke.
