Smartphone: activate energy saving mode

Indeed, when your battery turns red, it’s the first survival reflex to draw! Available on all Android smartphones, this power saving mode automatically restricts certain phone features.

For example, it interrupts the use of GPS when the screen goes to sleep or deactivates Bluetooth. Small details which, put end to end, will avoid running out of fuel!

In fact, to trigger this function, go to “Settings”, then “Battery” and finally to “Enable Saver”. To deactivate it, you will therefore have to go to the same place.

Use adaptive charging options

For 3 years, Android smartphones have incorporated a so-called adaptive battery. In fact, the latter automatically detects applications that are too greedy and closes them if they are used in the background. In other words, if they consume data when you no longer use them.

Disable your Smartphone’s voice assistant

In your “Google” application, open the “More” tab, then “Settings” and finally “Voice”. And then disable the “Access with Voice Match” option. From now on, when you say “OK Google”, your smartphone will remain unmoved.

Reduce auto-lock duration

You have now understood this. The screen is the most energy-consuming component of a smartphone. Last tip to limit its activity, make sure that it stays on for as little time as possible when you are no longer using your device.

First go to “Settings”. Then access the “Display” menu, “Advanced options” and finally “Sleep”. Finally, select the minimum time before standby, that is to say 15 seconds.
