After playing Black Widow and Captain America, comedians Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans will reunite in a brand new film: Project Artemis. Produced by Apple TV and directed by Jason Bateman (ozark) the project is already making a lot of noise.
While Chris Evans did his farewell to the character of Captain America in Avengers: Endgameand that Scarlett Johansson returned one last time as Black Widow in Black Widow, these two characters should therefore logically no longer cross paths in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Now that the two actors have hung up their superhero tights, we wonder what will be the rest of their adventures. Well the two artists will soon work together again.
An Apple TV project
According to Deadline, Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson have both signed on to star in Project Artemis. This mysterious project is produced by Apple TV and will be directed by Jason Batemanthe man behind series like The Outsider and ozark. The latter is also known as a comedian, and has appeared in films like Hancock and How to kill his boss?. The screenplay is written by Rose Gilroy, the daughter of acclaimed screenwriter and director Dan Gilroy and actress René Russo. The details of Project Artemis remain secret, but the film should itself address the subject of the space race.
The feature film should logically not be broadcast in dark rooms but of course AppleTV+. As for Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans, Project Atermis will mark their ninth on-screen collaboration after The Perfect Score, Diary of a Babysitter, Avengers, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. As for Chris Evans, he did not hide his enthusiasm for filming in Jason Bateman’s new film:
