Fans already know that the next series Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi will show many familiar names and characters from the franchise, including the return of the main antagonist of the original trilogy. Hayden Christensen is reprising his role as Anakin Skywalker, the former Padawan turned Sith Lord. The first glimpse of Vader’s return in Obi-Wan Kenobi is a confirmation that will delight many fans of the Star Wars universe, but also raises some questions. Because when Christensen’s return was first announced, it was reported that he would be playing Anakin Skywalker.which turned out to be an interesting detail considering that the series is supposed to take place after his transformation into a Sith Lord. However, the footage revealed so far hints at a rematch between McGregor’s Jedi and Darth Vader.leading many fans to wonder if Christensen was going to play both versions of the character.
