Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 5: a super Chromebook that turns into a tablet

Lenovo has developed its own range of Chromebooks, laptops that do not run on Windows 10 or Windows 11, but with ChromeOS, Google’s operating system. The Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 5 which is on flash sale is one of them and in addition it turns into a tablet.

Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 5: a 2-in-1 laptop

The Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 5 features a stunning 13.3-inch OLED display with Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels). In addition, its touch screen allows it to be used as a tablet since its keyboard can be detached easily since it connects via a Pogo connector and magnets.

What is interesting is Chrome OS, this operating system is super fast and you will no longer need to be always connected to the Internet to be able to use it since the main applications have an offline mode. That’s not all, you can surf the Play store to install any Android app on it.

The configuration is very close to that which can be found on an Android tablet or smartphone with a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon SC7180 clocked at 2.55 GHz, coupled with 4 GB of RAM in LP4X. On the storage side, it has 64 GB in eMMC. You don’t need much more with the Cloud. However, you can still use a memory card.

Regarding this flash sale, instead of 699.99 euros, it is marketed at 539.99 euros. Otherwise we also have a very powerful model from Asus.
