A new teaser from Fantastic Beasts 3 just fell. A TV spot released in the USA featuring Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) confessing his love to Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen). A meaningful moment that fans have been waiting for for many years. The next installment in the saga will clearly further explore the relationship between the two characters.

Still directed by David Yates, the man behind the last four installments of the saga Harry Potter and the first two Fantastic Beasts, Fantastic Beasts: Dumbledore’s Secrets is expected on April 13 in our dark rooms. Eddie Redmayne is back in the skin of Norbert Dragonneau, but this new opus should logically give pride of place to Dumbledore and Grindelwald. Jude Law, who briefly appeared in the previous installment, will reprise the role of Dumbledore and will have to face his best enemy: Grindelwald. The latter is played by Mads Mikkelsen who therefore succeeds Johnny Depp and Colin Farrell in the role of this already cult antagonist.
The first two installments of the license have already brought in more than $1.4 billion at the box office. Even if the second episode reported less than the first, the Harry Potter license still attracts the public as much.

A recent TV spot from Fantastic Beasts 3 just shared by Crave Culture on Twitter. A short clip that shows the two great wizards facing each other to announce this unprecedented confrontation. In this new clip, Grindelwald asks Dumbledore if he believes he can actually turn his back on his own kind. Grindelwald reminds his former friend that they once shared a common ideology. Which prompts Dumbledore to retort: “because I was in love with you”.

The previous part of the saga had already made some allusions in this direction. Corn Fantastic Beasts 3 fully assumes the past romantic relationship of the two protagonists. A TV spot that teases the deep bond that exists between the two wizards and which will be developed in David Yates’ film. This story of homosexuality that dates back to 2007 when JK Rowling herself admitted that Grindelwald and Dumbledore had an affair. It’s time for it to come to life on the big screen!
