Disney has confirmed the title ofAvatar 2who will be Avatar: The Way of Water (i.e. literally in French “The Way of the Water“). Taking place more than ten years after the events of the first film“Avatar: The Way of Water” begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri and their children), the troubles that follow them, the trouble they go to ensure their safetythe battles they wage to stay alive and the tragedies they endure.
The title ofAvatar 2 lends itself well to it, since water will be a major theme of the sequelwhich we know from the beginning.
james cameron said about it:
We actually have played an entire scene underwater with our young actors. We have six teenagers and a seven-year-old, and they’re all doing an underwater scene. We’ve been training them for six months to hold their breath, and they’re all able to hold it for two to four minutes. They are all perfectly capable of playing underwater, very calmly, holding their breath. We don’t do any of that while diving. And we get really good data, wonderful character movements and a excellent capture of facial performance.
And in addition to all these first elements, we were also able to have a glimpse of these first minutes of the film thanks according to Zoe Saldana.
First feedback on the film Avatar The Way of Water
Zoe Saldanafor his part, explained after seeing the beginning of the film:
I could only see 20 minutes of the second installment just before the end of last year and I was speechless… I was moved to tears. One thing no one really knows about Jim is that he’s also a big emotional. He really has a heart of gold, and he’s a firm and very focused man, but he has a very delicate heart, which is why he protects him so much. I think he is able to express himself through the stories he creates and this story is going to be fascinating. Avatar 2 is definitely a leap forward from Avatar 1.
