After almost three years of waiting, the patience of the fans will finally be rewarded. Season 4 of Stranger Things will be broadcast May 27 on Netflix, while the sequel will be put online on July 1 on the catalog. The opportunity to find Will, Mike and the others in spooky new adventureswhile the production of season 4 has just broken a record once held by Game Of Thrones : the series of the Duffer brothers becomes the most expensive series in history to produce, with $30 million allocated per episode.

This coded message in the trailer of Stranger Things tease the return of this major antagonist
If after the Demogorgon and the Mind Flayer, this creature should cause chaos in the small town of Hawkins, it could well be that Vecna is not the real antagonist of the next episodes. A hidden message in the latest trailer for the Netflix tease series the return of a formidable enemydisappeared from the radar since the end of season 1… At 1:59 minutes from the trailer, we can see a very quick shot of six portals which open. We can then distinguish four different timecodes : 1:46, :33, 2:30, :52. These allow us to decrypt a message that is: “Hi, I Am Hell Master” Where “Hi, I’m A Hell Master” (Hey, I am the master of hell in VF). This indication refers to the game Dungeons & Dragons which the characters of the series play.
In Dungeons & Dragons, the ruler of hell represents someone who has spent his life researching and understanding the inner workings of the nine hells, revealing the secrets of the Burning Gates. He has the power to summon and dominate certain demons from the lower hells… For many fans, there is no doubt that this person is Dr. Brenner, who was the researcher and lab director of Hawkins. He was a leader of Project MKUltra and spent many years of his life performing tests on subjects with powers. Dr. Brenner used Eleven for a variety of experiments to to spy on the Russians through the Voidand he could well start again in this sequel…
Why Dr. Brenner would be the big bad in this sequel
If he was attacked at the end of season 1 of Stranger Thingswe were later told that he had survived. However, he disappeared from radar and no one knows his whereabouts since. Considering his knowledge of the Upside Down and the possibility of him continuing his research and experiments wherever he is, chances are Dr. Brenner is the Hell Master. This would mean that he would have the ability to summon all monstrous creatures from the Upside Down and control them.
This theory is also based on the clues revealed in a previous trailer for this season 4. In it, we saw Eleven in a nightmarish universe, in which she was once again trying to escape from the Hawkins lab run by Dr. Brenner. The latter realized tests on other students, but it was impossible to know if it was a scene from flashbacks or our current reality. The latter has ruined the lives of many children, but if Eleven knows that there is a chance to save her adoptive father from the prison he is being held in Russia, she could try to find the doctor so that he can help her regain possession of her powers.
But as we know, in life, everything has a price. If Dr. Brenner helps Eleven regain her full powers, what services will he ask of him in exchange?
