A Battle Royale that rides on the success of Fortnite
Indeed, while the information circulating about the next game from Ubisoft announced a Battle Royale, the studio has just put an end to the suspense this April 23. It is on his Twitter account thatUbisoft has decided to formalize Project Qhis next free-to-play which, unlike Hyperscapewill not be a Battle Royale, but a Battle Arena.
It is therefore an online multiplayer game in which two teams compete to win.

In its tweet, Ubisoft clarifies that because everyone was aware of the development of its next game, yes, Project Q is indeed in production. As a reminder, it was the leaker Tom Henderson who was at the origin of these rumors by sharing an image of the game as well as a 10-minute video of the gameplay (since unavailable).

Faced with the success of Fortnite, no wonder the French studio wants to draw inspiration from it. Thereby, Ubisoft will offer a game with “a whole range of PvP modes with one goal in mind: fun“. For now, the development would be only at its very beginning. We know that Project Q (the temporary name of the game) will not offer NFTs although the studio is particularly fond of it. He will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC.
Two modes would be available: the “Showdown” and the “Battle Zone” to offer players form teams of two players and compete against four teams for the first, or in two teams of four to try to take control of an area of the map. Players will also be able to customize the characters with various weapons and various skills unique to each of them.
