The latest trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder released yesterday is full of details and easter eggs as treats for MCU aficionados. But one of them questions, to the point of being subject to speculation.
Trailer, synopsis, the promotional campaign is launched
The trailer of Thor: Love and Thunder unveiled yesterday by Marvel gave a first idea of what will be the salt of this 4th opus on the adventures of the god of thunder. A trailer filled with humour, nostalgia and majestic landscapes, to remind us that Thor has put the Mjolnir away (a priori), but also to launch a soft promotional campaign, and which will rise to a crescendo in power as the weeks will pass.
The integration of the Guardians of the Galaxy, a badass Jane Foster and a Russell Crowe as Zeus represent the first buzz shots of this communication campaign.
This trailer was accompanied by the official synopsis of the film, revealing the main narrative arc, that of a new threat in the person of Gorr the butcher of the gods (played by Christian Bale). Threat to which Thor, his ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), Korg (Taika Waititi) and King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) will have to respond.
A disturbing detail
Just a few hours after the publication of the trailer, fans and MCU experts were quick to pick up the details and easter eggs served by the house of ideas. But one element in particular disturbed the fanbase around the character of Thor. These are his eyes. Indeed, it is noticed several times that they are both blue in color. But everyone remembers thatafter losing it during his fight against his sister Hela in Thor: Ragnarok, his right eye was replaced with a fake brown eye donated by Rocket Raccoon in Avengers: Infinity War.
So, monumental oversight on the part of director Taika Waititi? It seems unlikely that the man behind Thor: Ragnarok omitted such a detail. Still, Internet users have however greatly questioned the networks, and in particular on Twitter, where they do not fail to speculate, through his 8 tweets

As the Guardians of the Galaxy make their return, it is indeed very likely that Rocket Raccoon will replace Thor’s brown eye with a more natural blue one. However, we will have to wait until the film’s release on July 13, 2022 to find out more.
