Sometimes fans like to imagine what it would be like if two worlds they love came together. And as much to say thatwith the universe of superheroes, it is not the possibilities that are lacking, as there are a multitude of films, series, cartoons or obviously varied comics.
Unfortunately, we sometimes despair of seeing some of these meetings happen for very down-to-earth reasons, particularly related to questions of rights. For example, it’s hard to imagine our favorite Marvel heroes meeting the ones we love at DC, because the two are direct competitors.
But that doesn’t stop fans from considering the possibility of it happening one day, and that’s especially the case with houseofmat on Instagram, who imagined an astonishing but convincing mix between Batman and Venom, two emblematic figures of their respective universes.
If Venom and Batman were one
No need to give you a detailed summary of who Batman and Venom are if you know DC and Marvel at all. Batman is an emblematic figure of the first, a masked vigilante, dressed all in black and is considered the best detective in the world. Venom is a symbiote from Marvel, the cult antagonist of Spider-Man, which unfortunately did not really have the right to preferential treatment in the cinema, although a sequel is planned. And if the two characters seem to have nothing in common except their dark side, well an artist calling himself houseofmat on Instagram shared a fan art in which he imagines a mashup between them. And the result is quite stylish!
