The Mandalorian: season 3 will be released sooner than expected according to this actor

Long-awaited season 3 of the hit series The Mandalorianwhich takes place in the universe Star Warswas announced for the end of 2022. The revelations of an actor in the series on an early release could delight fans.

Many Releases in the Star Wars Expanded Universe for 2022

Among the many works set in the Expanded Universe Star Warsthe hit series The Mandalorian relates the adventures of Din Djarin, known as Mando, a Mandalorian bounty hunter who collects Grogu, the famous “Baby Yoda”. The adventures of these two characters have also led them to cross The Boba Fett Booka spin-off from The Mandalorian. Two episodes of this series are even directly devoted to Din Djarin, further strengthening the links between the two works. These long appearances therefore reinforce the depth of the characters, at the same time as preparing the fans for the release of season 3 of The Mandalorian.

Announced for the end of 2022, the shooting of The Mandalorian is closed according to Carl Weathers (Greef Karga). The post-production work could however be accelerated, enough to make a place for itself in the middle of the other announcements of releases from this extended universe. If the next season of Boba Fett book could it be released (or not) in 2023, the next season of The Bad Batch – the animation series about an elite troop of clones – is well announced for the year 2022. Likewise, thea series Andorprequel to the film RogueOne, is also planned for this year, potentially in the summer. We can also cite the series Obi-Wan Kenobiwhich will be released on May 27, 2022. In this context, we understand the issue of the release date of season 3 of The Mandalorian.

An early release for The Mandalorian season 3

It was on the set of The Rich Eisen Show about season 3 that actor Giancarlo Esposito who plays antagonist Moff Gideon told fans :

You will have it soon.

He even went so far as to estimate the release next summer, what would follow the release of the series Obi-Wan Kenobi. However, the actor tempers:

No date has yet been set, but it will be soon.

Broadcaster of all of these Expanded Universe series, Disney + must juggle the schedule of these releases to attract the maximum number of viewers. An early exit from The Mandalorian is therefore not to be excluded, as the firm with the big ears put on it, even if this unofficial information comes from the actor who embodies the villain of the series. See you this summer to confirm.
