The Incredibles: Violette would have been recognized in another Pixar film

Except for a few hidden references, the company Pixar tends to avoid crossovers between his films. However, that never stopped fans from coming up with unlikely but surprisingly believable theories about their productions. This is also the case of the one linking Monsters, Inc.. and The Incredibles, through “a common character”.

Violette Parr: a debut in Monsters, Inc.?

Monsters, Inc.. shows the story of a young human who accidentally ends up in Monstropolis. The little girl is picked up by two monsters, named Sulli and Micke, who will try to bring her home. In the meantime, they will call him “Boo”, which is obviously not his real first name. The theory suggests that this little girl with an unknown name would actually be Violette Parr, from the Incrediblesyounger.

In the story, Boo quickly becomes fond of Sulli who can no longer get rid of him. The reason would be that the large, bulky build, but with a tender heart monster would have him recalled that of his father. The latter having precisely these three characteristics.

In addition to sharing the same hair colorBoo has semblances of power very similar to that of Violette. In particular his ability to become more or less invisible, like Randall, his personal monster. Moreover, in the incredibles, toddlers can develop powers. Moreover, it is the case of Violette in an unused alternate opening of the film.

This explains that…

Besides the ability to become “invisible”in the film, Boo is also protected by a force field which prevents him from falling during games with Sulli. These are the two main powers of Violette who has always had trouble mastering them. This emotional aspect of the powers refers to a psychological similarity between the two.

The theory is all the more plausible since Monsters, Inc. exists in the same world as the incredibles. Thus, Boo’s story would actually show how Violette faced her fears as a child. While the incrediblesreveals a character still haunted by inner concerns.

Even though this fan theory remains unlikely, especially since the color of the eyes does not match, it is always fun to directly link great classics of this kind. On the other hand, it would not not the first time a Pixar movie tie-up has been confirmed. For example, the car from Pizza Planet that subtly appears in many films.
