Highly anticipated, season 3 of The Boys continues to reveal itself with an enigmatic poster, teasing a Billy Butcher with superpowers!

An enigmatic poster
One of the most popular series on the Prime Video platform, series The Boys has conquered the hearts of fans of superheroic productions, with a proposal far from the beaten track, traced by the MCU and the DCEU. Adapting the eponymous comics by Garth Ennis, the series offers a more violent, more cynical take on the superheroic mythos.
While the animated series The Boys Presents: Diabolical just published, fans are still eagerly awaiting season 3 of the Eric Kripke-led series. It must be said that this new batch of episodes is particularly heavy in promise, the production teasing an episode centered on herogasm – a gigantic superheroic sexual orgy.
Nevertheless, the last poster of season 3 of The Boys is enigmatic to say the least. We can see Billy Butcher, the character played on screen by Karl Urban, with what seems to be superpowersas evidenced by his glowing eyes, as if about to shoot out laser-beams.
A mysterious poster, to say the least, for those who haven’t read the Garth Ennis comics, given that Billy Butcher is the head of the Boys, who are leading a crusade against superheroes. However, in the comics, the Boys use Compound V, a serum that gives superheroes their superpowersin order to narrow the gap in strength between them and the Supes.
In the comics, this has the effect of increasing the Boys’ abilities. Thereby, if he never reaches the same level as his nemesis, Homelander, Billy Butcher becomes an even more formidable fighter, capable of splitting the skull of Black Noir. Will the series go even further than the original work? That’s what this poster seems to suggest, by very explicitly showing superpowers for Billy Butcher.
However, as usual with The Boys, promotional material is often used for parody purposes.
