With the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home, fans were thrilled to see the three versions of Spider-Man reunited on screen, namely Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland. Plus, with the multiverse open, all possibilities are achievable. And some fans sincerely hope to see Kirsten Dunst return as Mary Jane Watsona character she played in Sam Raimi’s trilogy alongside Maguire.

Before the release of No Way Home, with many rumored, many thought they would see Dunst again in this new adventure. Unfortunately, this wish did not come true. I have to say that the couple formed by Spider-Man and Mary Jane in Raimi’s films is certainly one of the most emblematic of the Marvel universe.

Kirsten Dunst looks forward to
Today, during an interview with the magazine Backstage, Kirsten Dunst has addressed the idea of returning to the Spider-Man Multiverse. And this will have something to delight all fans! In effect, the actress just said she’s ready to make a comeback as Mary Jane :
You know that I will join this multiverse. I feel like I’m the only one who didn’t join. I’m like ‘Please put me in it. Put me on the waiting list. I need to pay for my house and for my children’.
This isn’t the first time Dunst has broached the idea. A little earlier, she had explained that even if for the moment, no one had come to submit the project to her, she felt that it could happen soon.
Here’s something to give back to the fans: Kirsten Dunst is therefore ready to make her comeback. How? We don’t know yet. A few days before the release of No Way Home, she explained thatshe would love to reprise her role in an older version with possibly children she would have had with Peter Parker.
