After the Z Event in October 2021, the community of French-speaking streamers, led by the unbeatable Xavier “Mister MV” Dang, is back in action this Friday April 15, 2022 for the second edition of Speedons. This charity event on behalf of the NGO Doctors of the World brings together a host of speedrunners for three days of gaming, records and good humor.

While the Gamers Assembly will bring together fans of video game tournaments this weekend, fans of speedruns will be able to gather around Speedons, a charity event that will take place from this Friday, April 15 to Sunday, April 17 inclusive. Donations will support the NGO Doctors of the World. Festivities that will take place throughout the next 55 hours (from 5:30 p.m.), both on Twitch and in person, at the Palais des Congrès in Paris.
A French version of the Games Done Quick which raised a whopping €614,000 for its 2021 edition. Some of the best speedrunners in the world will try to beat their times on their games of choice.

Over the past few days, SpeeDons has lifted the lid on the identities of the event’s casters. Thus, speedruns fans will be able to discover the different performances of the artists who responded to the sound of the sweet voices of Mister MV, Shisheyu Miyamoto, Laink, Aelthan, Chachamaxx, Yamato, DamDam, ZeratoR, or even RealMyop.

And on April 13, the official Twitter account of SpeeDons revealed the complete schedule of the event. games like Mario Kart Double Dash, Dark Souls III, Hitman II, Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening or Hollow Knight and Celestial are on the program.

And for this 2022 edition, SpeedDons presents a new category: speed-drawing. “During 3 – 4 hour sessions, 3 illustrators will create original works related to the games run during the event.” can we read for the description of the test. For the occasion, speakers from Doctors of the World will come and talk to Mister MV through five meetings: Friday at 5.30 p.m., Saturday 1 p.m., Saturday 7.30 p.m., Sunday 2 p.m. and Sunday from 11 p.m.. Interventions that will explain and describe how donations are used while detailing the actions of the NGO across the globe.
