This morning, we were talking to you about the #PixelWar, a cooperative initiative launched on Reddit which aims to mobilize Internet users around the world to offer them to create a huge fresco with pixels. The principle is simple: every five minutes, participants can drop a pixel to create a drawing. After the call of many popular French streamers, the initiative quickly turned into a real battlefield.
It’s war on Reddit and Twitter: France mobilized
Indeed, since this weekend, it is literally the war which rages on Reddit with the RedditPlace. Foreign internet users (especially American, English and Spanish) began to sabotage the pixelated drawing made by French representing a tricolor flag with the Eiffel Tower.
The mobilization is general on Reddit but also on Twitter. The experiment must end this Monday at 4 p.m. and at the time of writing this article, the French zone still has its flag, the Arc de Triomphe and the Louvre Palace. Unfortunately, we have lost the face of Zinédine Zidane and the representation of a vital card!
