Approached by Netflix for several projects, the creators of Game Of Thrones David Benioff and DB Weiss have just released this brand new project which is completely free from their previous ones. In addition, a sizeable asset has been added to the project.

If David Benioff and DB Weiss are mainly known for being the creators of Game Of Thronesthe most popular fantasy series on the planet, they have demonstrated that they can stand out from the genre and change register.
Last October, we told you about their adaptation of The three-body problemthe series adapted from the first novel in a literary trilogy by Chinese director Liu Cixin, describing humanity’s first contact with an extraterrestrial civilization.
Currently filming in London, the cast has been revealed. Among them are John Bradley-West and Liam Cunningham, who played Samwell Tarly and Sir Davos Mervault respectively.
A teen movie efficient
In the meantime, the two thieves have just let go Metal Lords, a teenage comedy set to metal music on Netflix. Change of tone then. In Metal Lordswe follow the rise of Hunter and Kevin, two unpopular teenagers who start a metal band, the Skullsuckers, and dream of winning the Battle of the Bands, a competition for the best music group. Metal Lords is not the only project under the leadership of David Benioff and DB Weiss bound for the Red N, since they also plan to adapt the novel TheOverstory, by writer Richard Powers. Little information yet to get your teeth into, other than an official description of the story: “ A vast and passionate work of activism and resistance, which is also an astonishing evocation of the natural world.
