Peach Momoko particularly stood out last year, reinventing the Marvel universe in feudal Japan style thanks to the comics Demon Days. The artist, a member of the Marvel Stormbreakers, put a new spin on iconic Marvel characters, who took on new life and new roles inspired by Japanese folklore. This new version of Iron Man thus promises an all new costume in which the hero has never been seen before, although it recalls an old variant cover. The comics Dark Wolverine #85, released in 2010, featured a variant cover by Humberto Ramos that turned Iron Man into a samurai.
Set in its own universe, this new version of Civil War is likely to have a far higher kill count than the original, and with its name listed in the title, we can think that this new version of Iron Man will occupy a major role in the plot.
