And precisely, the American actress recently shared her expectations regarding the future of her character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (mcu).
the beginnings of an eternal love?
Earlier in the week, we revealed to you this strange change in the credits of the Marvel series Wanda Vision following the recent release of the film Doctor Strange 2, to remember the strong bond that exists between the Scarlet Witch and Vision characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And precisely, this relationship could continue in the future of the MCU, it is at least the will of the actors.
As fans may recall, the series’ conclusion Wanda Vision on Disney+ saw the two heroes fly off to different corners of the MCU. Wanda has begun to study the Darkhold, while Vision’s fate still remains more or less unknown, although one fans discovered the existence of White Vision.
During an interview with comic book, Elizabeth Olsen has revealed she can’t wait to see the couple reunite and rekindle their romanceresponding enthusiastically when asked the question, stating: “I still want to be reunited with the painted faces of Paul Bettany. This face is incredible”. Yet, despite his hopes and desires, the actress revealed she has no idea what the future holds for her in the MCU. She said:
I do not know. I’ve no idea. I think the fans usually have the best ideas and honestly I don’t know where we go from there. I also don’t know the limits of the MCU considering I don’t know what they have planned for the sequel… I feel like the fans always know what the plans are even when they don’t. are not announced. But I have some images in my head, […] where she ages and decays, while using her power. There’s something about that, this older woman, aging because of her power, that I find interesting. And I don’t really know what that means, but I wish I was old.
Paul Bettany, the actor who embodies Vision, himself previously confessed that he also has no idea when his next MCU appearance will be, but the actor still remains open for his return, and seems to believe it will happen. During an interview with Entertainment Weekly last month he said:
The honest answer to that question is, well maybe that’s not the honest answer, but that’s the answer I’m going to give you and you’ll have to live with it, at the end of Wanda Vision, you see Vision soaring and there are still things to sort out. And Kevin Feige is not a man who leaves things hanging. So I guess at some point I’m going to put on my tights and cape for another outing, but I don’t know when that might be.
In any case, you will have understood it, if Vision is dead, Wanda will still be able to live a romance with White Vision.
