Indeed, TikTok user @morgslee_ decided to share her experience of “legsonthewall”. According to the latter, the effects would be final. She therefore found that this technique “increases lymphatic drainage, relieving tension in the lower back, legs and feet. But also relieves swelling and pain”.

During an interview given to GlamourUK on the subject… Anisha Joshi, osteopath, explains that the “legs on the wall” is a frequently used technique and has many benefits. “Having the legs up against the wall can improve headaches. Because you are giving your body time to rest and relax. In my clinic, many patients who suffer from headaches usually do so because of stress or lack of sleep…”

Before adding that by practicing this technique “you also stretch the lower back, which can reduce any abdominal or lumbar tension”.

Anisha Joshi also explains to GlamourUK, however adding that: “I do not specifically recommend this exercise to my patients, however, I recommend meditating if I think anxiety or stress is contributing to their pain. This can be sitting upright or lying down and focusing on their breathing.”
