She may well be the origin of one of the most popular sagas in the world, JK Rowling is at the heart of many controversies for her public positions in recent years. The author ofHarry Potter has also recently received a new death threat that she shared on Twitter. However, despite many reports from Internet usersthe moderations of the social network did not see fit to react quickly.
A clip with explicit lyrics that does not pass
JK Rowling is a particularly divisive personality: adored by millions of fans around the world for her work but also for daring to share her opinions in public, she is also accused by many Internet users of being grossophobic, but above all transphobic. It is true that the author has shared her opinion on this last question on many occasions, which has caused her to be regularly harassed.
This harassment goes as far as death threats. JK Rowling also explained that she receives them regularly and decided to share one recently: a clip, in which trans activist and singer Faye Ozu Trust Fund Talk about “kill the TERFS” (radical feminists excluding transgender people) and hope that JK Rowling “get into a coffin”.
I’m afraid I can’t give a shout out to everyone promising to murder me – there are so many of you, and I’m a busy woman – but this one deserves a mention for the nineties rave vibe, @TrustFundOzu. pic.twitter.com/Ium6oIHFOS

I’m afraid I can’t mention everyone threatening to kill me – there are too many and I’m a busy woman – but this one deserves special mention for the nineties vibe.
twitter’s two-step reaction
If some tweeters argue that JK Rowling deserves what’s happening to her or that she doesn’t deserve it but should “to reflect on his words”, many also came to his defense and have decided to report the publication of Trust Fund Ozu. This is particularly the case of actor James Dreyfus, who shared his dismay when moderation replied that the activist “did not violate [leur] security policy”. Like an impression that Twitter refused to help a harassed person, therefore, which went wrong.
Surprise, Surprise!
So, deaththreats=Good.
Saying ‘women are women’=Bad. @Twitter @TwitterSupport
Congratulations. You’ve hit rock bottom. Seek help.

Surprise, surprise! So death threats = good. To say “a woman is a woman” = wrong. Well done @Twitter @TwitterSupport. You have hit rock bottom. Get help.
The affair could have ended there, but the perseverance of the users made it possible to tip the scales, since the moderation again looked at the case of Trust Fund Ozu, under their pressure.

Thanks for letting us know. Our investigations have shown that this account has violated the Twitter Rules: insulting and harassing.
The account of the author of the clip has obviously not been suspended, it is therefore a first step, which may make you think twice (or not) other Internet users who would try to do the same.
