Every Thursday, the Epic Games Store renews its catalog of free games. After Amnesia: Rebirth and Riverbond last week, the Steam competitor offered two titles of a completely different genre. Completely WTF games that are available until May 5th.
two free games for this week
Games, packs and skins are regularly offered on the Epic Games Store. While the current tunnel is reserved exclusively for the donation of pure and hard games, owners of an Epic Games account can retrieve the next free games from the platform, available from this Thursday, April 28, 5 p.m. A perfect opportunity to expand your game library without spending a penny. And until next May 5, 5 p.m., you can pick up the games Just Die Already and Paradigm. The first is a sandbox game from the creators of Goat Simulator in which the elderly wreak havoc. The second, meanwhile, a surreal adventure game in which you play as a “seductive mutant”.
Just Die Already
After Goat Simulatorits creators have decided to give life to a completely quirky world focused on the third age: Just Die Already. The players embody a senior, in the near future, at a time when people no longer have children. So no one pays pensions anymore because “these ungrateful millennials prefer to spend their time playing video games instead of going to work“. The retirement home therefore kicks you out, for lack of unpaid bills. You will therefore have to survive on your own.
Destructible decor, suicidal challenges, many and varied interactions with many objects, Just Die Already can be played alone or online in multiplayer mode for up to 4 people. With its detailed environments full of secrets and hidden paths, this crazy game presents itself as a good release. And if you want to compete against other players, know that a versus mode is also available, adding 4 new arenas and customizable game modes.
Just Die Already is available from this Thursday, April 28, 5 p.m., until Thursday, May 05, 5 p.m., right here.
Paradigm
In Paradigmyou play as a mutant described as a handsome man, through a point & click adventure Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, space quest, Full Throttle. With its 2D graphics presented as an encounter between Pixar and falloutthis WTF post-apocalyptic game is based on a representation of the future as imagined in the 70s/80s. Huge computers, futuristic furniture, the floppy disks are too important in our lives, Paradigm should delight lovers of this era.
Be careful though, Paradigm is not to be put in all hands. And for good reason, at first, the game is entirely in English, whether in terms of audio or text. Exit the Anglophobes then. This is followed by adult content with dark humor, which will not necessarily appeal to all players. Nonetheless, its sublime antagonist, aka an evil sloth, should convince you to at least take a look. Whatever, Paradigm is currently free.
Paradigm is available from this Thursday, April 28, 5 p.m., until Thursday, May 05, 5 p.m., right here.
