Elon Muskpublic figure and businessman known for being the leader of You’re here and SpaceX, recently hit the headlines after officially taking over Twitter. And whereas lately, we revealed to you that the billionaire intended to develop this futuristic means of transport itself, some seem to want to lift the veil on a dark part of its activities.

In the wake of the news that Elon Musk has become the new owner of the social network Twitter, variety revealed that a new documentary on this divisive businessman has been announced for the month of May.

Entitled Elon Musk’s Crash Course, the upcoming documentary is the latest in the documentary series The New York Times Presentsa collaboration between FX and the New York Times. They have the vocation provide an in-depth look at important people and eventsranging from Janet Jackson to Juul (the US e-cigarette company) to the Australian fires of 2020. The series is best known for its two in-depth Britney Spears documentaries, Framing Britney Spears and Controlling Britney Spearswhich contributed to the end of the guardianship of the American singer.

Behind the eccentric claims of Tesla’s Autopilot capabilities, and its tragic results. FX and The New York Times Present: Elon Musk’s Crash Course, debuting May 20.

Directed by Emma Schwartz, Elon Musk’s Crash Course is a talk about one of Musk’s companies, Tesla, and in particular its work on self-driving cars. With reports by Cade Metz and Neal Boudette from New York Times, the documentary will explain how Tesla’s Autopilot program caused several deaths that Musk and the company have yet to publicly acknowledge, and will detail Musk’s efforts to prevent government investigations into his incidents. Several former Tesla employees will appear in the documentary, speaking out against the billionaire for the first time.

The documentary Elon Musk’s Crash Course will air simultaneously on pay channel FX and the Hulu streaming platform on May 20, but for the moment we do not know if and when these documentaries will be available from us.
