Stephen Strange Conquering the Multiverse

It is curious to note that the MCU has, for the moment, just scratches the surface of Marvel’s full potential. Thanks to the acquisition of Fox by Disney, the Fantastic Four or the X-Men can now be integrated into the franchise, and we have seen it with Doctor Strange 2. Grace to the powers of America Chavez indeed, Stephen Strange was able to navigate several alternate universes, including one in which mutants and the Fantastic Four help protect Earth, like the Avengers.

The representative of the mutants in the Illuminati of Earth-838 may have been Professor Xavier, but it was John Krasinski’s Reed Richards who announced the existence of Marvel’s most powerful mutant. What if we called to our recent memoriesto find this scene in our memory?

Reed richards answers scarlet witch’s question

While Scarlet Witch is about to kill Reed Richards, the latter mentions that he has children, and a living wife, who can take care of them. This is obviously a direct reference to Franklin and Valeria Richards, the children of Reed and Sue Storm. While in the comics Valeria has a mutation that grants her incredible intelligence, Franklin Richards’ abilities make him not only the most powerful mutant in Marvel comics, but also one of the most powerful comic book characters in general. . Franklin, indeed, has the ability to distort reality, like Scarlet Witch does in Wanda Vision and in Doctor Strange 2but on a much larger scale.

Franklin Richards.

MCU plans for the X-Men and the Fantastic Four of Earth-616 are still a mystery, but there’s now a Franklin Richards in at least one corner of the multiverse. The presence of Reed Richards and Professor Xavier in Doctor Strange 2 has in any case helped give the public a taste of what is to come, and Franklin Richards could be one of the characters in which the MCU will invest in the future. He’s such an important character in the comics that Marvel just can’t pass it up. And when we know that Elizabeth Olsen has extended her contract with Marvel Studios for seven more years, we imagine that sooner or later the latter will be confronted with a character who has powers as important as her. Marvel Studios will then be spoiled for choice: make Franklin Richards the worthy successor to Wanda, or on the contrary, make him his sworn enemy.

And since we were talking about contract extension, know that even if Elizabeth Olsen loves collaborating with Marvelthe latter mentioned, in one of her last interviews, the biggest inconvenience of having a contract with MCU studios.
