When the trailer of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness aired on the occasion of the Super Bowl, fans set the web ablaze with their wild theories around characters kept secret by Marvel. This trailer raised a lot of questions, for which we still haven’t gotten official answers at this time. But let the fans be reassured, a recently revealed leak should allow us to see a little more clearly in this thick fog of confusion introduced by Marvel.

Since the Super Bowl trailer was unveiled, everyone involved in the film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness were summoned to respond to fan queries and were bombarded with questions. Nevertheless, none of them leaked anything which would come to formalize the rumors that have been circulating for a while.
Patrick Stewart, for example, was more than once questioned about the vocal cameo he is credited with in the trailer. On this subject, the actor implied that it was indeed him that we heard, but did not want to deny or confirm the presence of Professor Xavier in the sequel to the adventures of the Sorcerer Supreme.
This is quite understandable. Indeed, if the character and his cameo were to be made official in the film, many other things would ensue… This could then bring new elements which would attest to the presence of the Illuminati, and therefore of a new Iron Man, Mr Fantastic, Namor and Black Arrow in the film.
A leak that confirms the presence of these heroes
Until then, no one at Marvel has been crazy enough to venture into this field. The information therefore had to be formalized through another channel. As you can see a little further down, the caption of a photo from the latest issue of the magazine Empire seems confirm the presence of the Illuminati in the casting of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

As a reminder, in the comics, the Illuminati is a group of heroes made up of the most influential beings ever known. In the shadows, they make life-and-death decisions and shape the universe to their will. The presence of this group in the MCU would have a major impact on the sequence of events.
