Doctor Strange 2: the release of the film causes this strange change in the credits of WandaVision

The film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has been talked about a lot since the release of No Way Home. The fans indeed expect a lot from the latter, and to mark the occasion, Marvel has decided to make a small change in one of the introductory credits of the series. Wanda Vision. A little wink that already gives rise to many theories.

As is customary…

It’s not uncommon for Marvel Studios and Disney+ to alter shows after release, and this is even truer when we speak of Wanda Vision. Previously, in fact, the post-credits scene of the last episode had been fleshed out and plans had been changed, with the aim, certainly, of perfecting the show, but also of preparing for the arrival of Doctor Strange 2.

If at the time we paid little attention to it, since the series had just been released and artistic changes could always take place in order to improve the lattertoday things are changing, since a change that occurred more than a year after an online is much rarer.

A small but nonetheless significant change

During the episode modeled on series Malcolmwith an introduction that pays homage to the shows of the time by introducing all the important characters of said series, the character of Paul Bettany “The Vision”, as it was called when the series was released, is now simply called “Vision”. This is a simple change, but strange.

Series Wanda Vision now leads directly to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, slated for release later this week. Given that this film explores the process of the multiverse (we explain it all to you within our spoiler-free review), it seems obvious that this minor change marks the desire to show that other “Visions” exist in other alternative realities, and that the latter will reappear in one form or another (we think in particular of the White Vision of Wanda Vision) in future MCU productions. In any case, it seems unlikely that this change was made on the sidelines of the release of Doctor Strange 2and more than a year after the release of Wanda Vision, purely by chance. We know Marvel Studios loves easter eggs and references, and this change is sure to come. a little nod to the multiverse and what’s to come.
