In August 2013, Fox studios announced three sequels to Avatar first of the name. Supposed to be released in 2016, 2017 and 2018 respectively, these sequels were finally postponed. Avatar, the way of the water, the second part of the saga of James Cameron should be released next December. The first images were released this weekend, a few days before the release of the first trailer. And speaking of the trailer, the latter leaked.
more than a decade of waiting
After the leak of the trailer of Spider-Man: No Way Home last August, it was the turn of the trailer forAvatar, the way of the water. An expected trailer which should land in the coming days, Disney has not yet formalized its release date. After several years of waiting, fans of the first film will soon be able to breathe. A first trailer which will allow you to discover the first images, in video, and with sound, ofAvatar, the way of the waterwhose title, logo and even the poster were unveiled only a few days ago.
Dense news for an expected film which follows the biggest success of the world box office, with 2,847,246,203 dollars collected internationally. With its 5-star cast, consisting of Zoe Saldana, Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Cliff Curtis, Joel David Moore, Edie Falco, Jemaine Clement, Giovanni Ribisi and Kate Winslet, this film must transport us to the depths underwater from Pandora. His synopsis notably allowed us to learn more about his screenplay, which will focus on Sully’s new family:
“Taking place more than ten years after the events of the first film“Avatar: The Way of Water” begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri and their children), the troubles that follow them, the trouble they go to ensure their safetythe battles they wage to stay alive and the tragedies they endure”
A leaked trailer
And this weekend, on Facebook, Twitter, 4chan, Reddit, Tik Tok and YouTube, the trailer forAvatar, the way of the water leaked. A leak that spread like wildfire, despite Disney’s quick efforts to close the valve. Many Internet users were able to discover the first trailer for this Avatar 2 before the hour, although the wait would only be a few days. Images that seem to have deserted the web, as Disney has worked hard to quickly remove them.

On Twitter, the reports were legion, as were the suspended accounts. The trailer in question is now difficult to find, although links continue to be exchanged privately. For obvious reasons, we won’t be sharing that trailer here. Nevertheless, you may be able to get your hands on it by searching the net. A trailer that allows us to lay our eyes on the seabed of Pandora, which will be at the heart of this second part. The first images of the film, officially shared this weekend, can of course be found there.
A trailer that should be released in the next few days, so the wait shouldn’t be very long. Beware all the same of the plethora of fake trailers lying around on the web, especially on YouTube. Anyway, the saga of James Cameron is well and truly back, more than a decade after the theatrical release ofAvatar.
