At the end of next month the Star Wars Celebrationa major event for fans of the universe originally created by george lucas. And Cinelinx reports that the second season of the series could be released as early as September or October this year, with a first look at next month’s event. The first season had given the various studios great creative freedom, allowing them to appropriate and interpret the richness of the history of this universe in their own way.

Although Star Wars Celebration is primarily an event dedicated to the Star Wars universe, Lucasfilm also has plans for Indiana Jones 5 as well as the series Willowsequel to the eponymous film released in 1988. Kevin Kiner, composer of The Clone Wars, The Bad Batch and Rebelstalked about it with The Directand said: “Lucasfilm and Disney give us a full orchestra for every episode. It’s a very special project, big, big people are involved”. An informant would then have reported that the project would be revealed this year. And if the title is any indication of what the series could be, it’s possible it borrows elements from the comic book series of the same name, which became the basis of Knights of the Old Republic.

According to LRM Onlinethe pre-production of a new Star Wars series began under the working title of Grammar Rodeo. The series will be filmed at Manhattan Beach Studios, the same location where other Disney+ series have been filmed, such as The Mandalorian, The Boba Fett Book and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Plot details for the series are yet to be known, but it is set to take place during the High Republic era., a period that begins 200 years before the events of The Phantom Menace (1999). And recent information has revealed that actor Jude Law would star in the series. He would play a Jedi Master, supervising a group of padawans. We would also find Jon Wattsdirector of the trilogy of Spiderman from the MCU, who is expected to lead the series.

Revelations on the cast of the series Ashoka

The hype for the next series Ashoka continues to grow and the casting rumors for the characters of Thrawn and Ezra have been pouring into the depths of the internet for quite some time now. Canadian actor, Mena Massoud, having starred as Aladdin in the 2019 remake, is considered the frontrunner for the role of Ezra. And for the role of Thrawn, fans overwhelmingly chose Lars Mikkelsenhaving already played the character in Star Wars: Rebels.

Lucasfilm intends to further explore the period between Revenge of the Sith (2005) and A new hope (1977), notably thanks to the next series Obi-Wan Kenobibut also with the new series Andor.
