After James Bond and silent cinema

“It will be a zombie movie, very funny”
This zombie comedy is a remake of Don’t cut!, a real Japanese nugget that passed through our theaters in 2019. This French-speaking side will therefore see Romain Duris as a broke director, surrounded by actors (Bérénice Bejo plays a make-up artist specializing in krav-maga), little invested in the project, being invaded by an authentic invasion of zombies.
The teaser below sets the tone, between slasher comedy, hemoglobin splashes, and an overwhelmed film crew, all wrapped up in an ultra-vivid color palette.
“It will be a zombie movie, very funny “, had declared Romain Duris at the microphone of our colleagues from Allociné last year. The two actors notably give the reply to Jean-Pascal Zadi, actor and comedian of simply black.
If the teaser remains somewhat sparing in images, the project, which can be described as genre cinema, is daring, and brings a breath of fresh air to French cinema. To find out more, you will have to wait patiently for June 15, when the film will be released in French cinemas.
