If you saw Fantastic Beasts 2, you know what Nagini, Lord Voldemort’s snake, looks like in his human form. Portrayed by Claudia Kim, the young woman is affected by a curse which condemns her to turn into a snake and join the black mage. Although she disagrees with Grindelwald, she befriends Croyance who finally rallies to Grindelwald.

If you’re still with us, you’ve already seen Dumbledore’s Secrets. In this installment, we learn more about the history of Creed. He is Albus Dumbledore’s nephew played by Jude Law. Croyance decides to leave the ranks of Grindelwald to find his family. He is touched by the curse of the Obscurus and he knows he will die. The public hoped that his friend Nagini would come to see him, but she is an absent subscriber in this episode.
Credence’s death prompts Nagini to join Voldemort
Is Croyance’s planned death could impact Nagini’s fate ? That’s what we can ask ourselves! Nagini may well have felt abandoned by her only close friend. Following the death of the character who could intervene in the next opus, the young woman could therefore find herself devastated and therefore very vulnerable. And we know that when we find ourselves in a state of weakness, we can very quickly switch to the dark side.
According to the Harry Potter canon, Nagini would therefore have met Voldemort before 1994 in Albania. Voldemort knew how to seduce those who interested him. Moreover, when Nagini becomes a snake, the black mage knows that he needs his venom to survive. Nagini becomes so prominent that he even overshadows all the Death Eaters around him.
What would therefore be interesting for the following Fantastic Beastsis that we are offered an exploration of the stories of the characters seen in the saga Harry Potter. Hoping also that we address more of the tragedy of the Maledictus. Everything therefore leads us to believe that Credence’s death could be the reason why Nagini joins Voldemort. If so, then here we would have a terrific connection between the two franchises moving from Creed to Voldemort.
