When we think that superheroes have managed to become stronger than ever and that they cannot become even more powerful, they prove us wrong most of the time. On this subject, one of the best examples is undoubtedly that of Bruce Banner, alias Hulk, who never ceases to surprise us. Already extremely powerful, it could well become more dangerous than ever! Provided he manages to meet this ultimate challenge.
The Final Step To Maximum Hulk Power
If Hulk often comes back in our articles and we always mention the fact that he is about to become more powerful than ever, there is a reason. With each new adventure, whatever the format (films, comics…), the Jade Colossus reveals new abilities that make it ever more powerful, so much so that one ends up wondering if it will ever stop.
In the latest series of comics Hulk to date, in any case, the Green Titan is about to reach its maximum power. And for good reason, from today is available (for now only in English) the ultimate issue of Hulk (2021), written by Donny Cates and drawn by Ryan Ottley.
We already told you about the previous issue, Hulk #5, in which the superhero becomes stronger and stronger, despite himself. In effect, Bruce Banner managed to create a kind of vessel (the “Starship Hulk”) inside the real Hulk’s psyche. Within it is an “engine room”, an arena in which a miniature version of the Green Scar fights in order to increase its power. But in Hulk #6the situation is spiraling out of control.
A power out of control
In the previous issue of Hulkthe character of Betty Ross is controlled and has become evil: the young woman takes control of the Starship Hulk and decides to increase the level of the engine room. This forces the miniature Hulk to fight ever more powerful enemies, thus greatly increasing the power of the real superhero. Only, this one is getting more and more out of control as in Hulk #6Betty Ross pushes the engine room to level 9, its maximum level.
There, Hulk must face a multitude of enemies, each more dangerous than the other: among others, Adam Warlock, Thanos, and even the cosmic entities the Living Tribunal and Galactus (in a “hulkized” version) oppose him. And yet! It may well be that this immense challenge will not be the last for the Hulk, since Betty Ross is now threatening to take it to the next level, level 10. If this is supposed not to be possible, we can imagine that Marvel is preparing some big surprises for this final issue of Hulk, while the images you see in this article are only from a preview.
Since Betty Ross brings up the fact that there have been a multitude of Hulks and that “everyone seems to have one these days”it’s a safe bet that the Green Titan will have to face an even more powerful version of himself, during a final fight which promises to be particularly intense.
