Time travel in Endgamea scenario not foreseen by VAT?

avengers endgame has been out for three years in dark rooms, but the most profitable blockbuster in history has still not revealed all its secrets. Indeed, many MCU fans are still wondering about the concept of time travel used within the plot. In the series Loki, which aired on Disney+, it was revealed that the Time Variance Authority (TVA) was hunting down and punishing anyone who dared to alter the original timeline. He Who Remains, one of the versions of Kang the Conqueror, had revealed to the God of Mischief and his variant Sylvie that if time travel had taken place in Endgame, that’s because it had to happen. However, many fans are convinced that this plot was not part of initial VAT plans. They then put forward the theory that Doctor Strange, formerly Sorcerer Supreme, would have concluded a deal with the master of time to save planet earth from the hands of Thanos.

Can the pact between Doctor Strange and Kang the Conqueror threaten the survival of humanity?

On paper, it is certain that a being as mystical as Stephen Strange is able to come into contact with Kang the Conqueror. It also makes sense that he could do it without anyone else noticing. Whether he stopped time while he was away or simply used astral projection to travel, Doctor Strange was able to meet him in deepest secrecy, for he knew time travel was the only possible way to counter Thanos.

However, if this theory is true, we must ask ourselves an essential question: what could he possibly have promised him in exchange for letting him modify the chronology in this way? As we know, Kang the Conqueror will be part ofAnt Man 3 and it is a far more formidable version than the one seen in Loki that we should find out. We can imagine that he will also intervene in other films and series of the MCU, in order to impose his place as the greatest villain of the franchise after Thanos. What make the task of Doctor Strange even more complicated in the future, he who will already have to manage an evil version of himself in Doctor Strange 2.
