Harry Potter on Switch: dreaded downgrade?
Indeed, since March 18, the Nintendo Switch logo has been applied to all official pages and visuals of the upcoming Avalanche game. Until now, the game was only announced for Sony, Microsoft and PC consoles. Besides, Sony event obliges, the entire Gameplay sequence was shown on PS5. So don’t expect this quality of visuals on other less efficient consoles, the Switch is obviously singled out on this subject, as the ports on it are catastrophic because of the weak technical capacities of the console. A lot of fans started to go to the battlements so that he wouldn’t make the same mistake again with Harry Potter Hogwarts Legacy: Hogwarts Legacy only for the Switch port of games such as The Witcher 3.
One of the options considered – but which is unlikely since there already seem to be Switch covers of the game according to certain rumors, visible on Amazon – would be that Harry Potter Hogwarts Legacy: Hogwarts Legacy on Switch goes through Cloud Gaming, like the last game Hitman 3. This method requires a permanent internet connection but allows to overcome the weak technical capacities of the Nintendo console, since the player plays in streaming from his Nintendo Switch. This would probably be the best option for this sizable portion of gamers to get the most out of the game experience. Otherwise, the developers had announced that they were taking a radical decision after yet another controversy sparked by JK Rowling. We talked about it in an article right here.
