Since 2008, panda and kung fu lovers can discover the crazy adventures of Po, Dragon Warrior of his state. After convincing the Five Cyclones in 2008, defeating Shen once and for all in 2011 and finding his family in 2016, Po has not said his last word. While a project for a fourth film is still pending, Netflix is making the announcement that all fans have been waiting for.

With his natural clumsiness, his voracious appetite and his particular humor, Po quickly became one of the most beloved DreamWorks characters in the big fun. Incarnated by Jack Black in the original version, he embodies the hero with a big heart who easily conquers those of young and old alike, all carried by a masterful soundtrack and magnificent landscapes. And after 3 animated feature films released between 2008 and 2016, Po does not intend to stop there. The former server who has become a Dragon Warrior and even a teacher will return “soon” in a new adventure, signed DreamWorks. An announcement that is sure to appeal to both studio fans and Netflix subscribers. And for good reason, here is an animation series called Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight just announced.

In this new production which will be released on Netflix, Po will be confronted with four cunning weasels who try to seize ancient weapons capable of ravaging the Valley of Peace. For this mission, the young panda will not be alone and can count on the arrival of a new character. During his wanderings, he will cross paths with an English knight called “Wandering Blade” who will lend him a hand. It remains to be seen who is really hiding behind this mysterious name.

Note that in its original version, it is indeed Jack Black who will resume his role. And while Netflix hasn’t revealed a release date, Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight should be released “soon”.
