365 days on Netflix, a disappointing sequel?
On April 27, Netflix unveiled 365 days, overnight, sequel to the sulfurous Polish thriller released two years ago. Even though the film was controversial during its release – in particular because of certain violent sequences which could make the apology of the rape and the domination – 365 days enjoyed great success to subscribers of the streaming platform.
The spectators were therefore rather impatient to discover the continuation of the adventures of Laura and Massimo. In this second part, we find them on their wedding day. In view of the incalculable torrid scenes between the two protagonists, it is easy to understand that everything is going for the best between the two lovebirds. The perfect idyll, however, was only short-lived, because Laura is growing weary of Massimo’s domineering attitude. The housewife then decides to get closer to Nacho, an alleged gardener played on screen by Simone Susinna. The latter is actually the son of the main enemy of the Sicilian and his only goal is to harm Massimo…
Finally, Nacho becomes attached to Laura, who will only discover at the end of 365 days, overnight all the shenanigans of his new crush. To top it all off, Massimo must now face a new threat: his twin brother, Adriano, whose existence he didn’t seem to know. To save the one they love, Nacho and Massimo decide to join forces against Adriano. Unfortunately, during this testosterone-filled affront, two people are affected: Adriano and Laura. Many viewers were shocked by this ending, but if Netflix follows the story of the books, the heroine will survive!
What can happen in the third film of 365 days on Netflix?
Besides, thehe streaming giant has just confirmed the continuation of 365 days, which should even arrive earlier than expected on the catalog! Indeed, this third part, entitled another 365 days, been shot at the same time as the second film. As a reminder, the story of this thriller is adapted from the books of Blanka Lipińska. As you can imagine, she strongly hesitates between Massimo and Nacho, since she harbors feelings for both men. However, the attitude of her first lover annoys her more and more. When she decides to leave him for Nacho, Massimo becomes mad with rage and kills Laura’s dog in revenge. In the last novel, Massimo is portrayed as a monster, which is why readers are happy to see Laura finish her story with Nacho. It remains to be seen whether Netflix will adapt the story of the last installment as such, but in any case, 365 days has not finished making people hear about him!
