Director Jan de Bont and Reeves co-star Sandra Bullock have both signed on to Speed 2: Cruise Control. However, even though Reeves was still a young actor at the time, he turned down a salary of $12 millionbecause he did not like the script of the sequel at all, as he revealed during a 2018 interview on the show of jimmy kimmel.
How the script was laid out : Jason Patric took over the male lead role playing another policeman named Alex Shaw. He had to both court the character of Sandra Bullock, and save the day, in place of Jack Traven. Speed 2 was a massive box office failure and was the source of heavy reviews upon its release.

However, Linda Hamilton didn’t think the film could be a success without its visionary creator, and ex-husband. The actress also didn’t like the storyline of the third film, and so she decided to decline the offer.

For him, it was abnormal that “two or three actors are paid more than what was offered to me to return”. A question of money, then.
How the script was laid out : in the script, Tom Hagen died some time before the events of Godfather, 3rd party, which takes place in 1979-1980. It is never revealed exactly when and how Tom Hagen died. Two new characters (namely BJ Harrison and Dominic Abbandando) then assume the legal responsibilities of the Corleone family.

The other producers therefore decided to push him towards the exit (and the latter accepted it, without having much choice) in order to save money.
How the script was laid out : the production called on Adam Scott to replace John Cusack. Adam Scott played the role of Cusack’s son, Adam Jr. The merry band claimed that Adam had gone “to find himself” and that was the reason he couldn’t participate in a second round of parties and time travel. To back up the project, Emmerich and his writing team wrote two scripts, one with Steven Hiller and one without (since Will Smith was still undecided whether or not he would be there until filming began). Subsequently, the writers killed Smith’s character off-screen. It is explained that he died while realizing a test for a new experimental alien hybrid fighter.

Richard Dreyfuss starred as Matt Hooper in Jaws. However, Spielberg decided not to sign for the rest of the Sea teethin 1978. In the following, Brody calls Hooper help by phone. The pair discuss how to handle this newfound terror, but Hooper is overseas in Antarctica, for an expedition.
10) crispin glover didn’t star in back to the future 2
Crispin Gloverwho played the role of George Mcfly in Back to the future, did not return to play in back to the future 2, so the directors imitated his face and voice, and were sued. Most of the original cast returned for the film’s sequel in 1989. However, Glover turned down the opportunity to reappear as George because of “moral” objections:
It was all about the money, and what these people – the characters – were doing for money. I told Robert Zemeckis that I thought it was not a good idea for our characters to have monetary rewards. Because in fact, the moral of the film is that money is synonymous with happiness…
How the script was laid out : the directors hired actor Jeffrey Weissman to play the role of George under prosthetics, using this makeup, and also used visual effects to give him the appearance and voice of Crispin Glover. He therefore continued Universal City Studios, Amblin Entertainment and U-Drive Productions for $1 million. The parties ended up agreeing for an amount of 760,000 dollars. The lawsuit also set a precedent that prevents movie studios from making it look like an actor has reprized his role. when this is not the case.
