Watchmen: an adaptation that took time
The film watch men is an adaptation of the comics of the same name created by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons, then edited by DC Comics. This one was abandoned several times by different production companies (20th Century Fox, Warner Bros.), but it was released in theaters in 2009.
In terms of casting, we find Patrick Wilson, Jackie Earle Haley, Billy Crudup, Malin Akerman and Carla Gugino.
Regarding the story, it takes place in 1985 in an alternative America where the United States and the Soviet Union are ready to return to nuclear war. In parallel, a plot takes shape to exterminate all the superheroes of the past and the present. The old team of retired vigilantes will then resume service to save humanity.
