UFO: this photo is supposed to be the best proof of the existence of extraterrestrials

On the net, a 50-year-old photograph is causing debate. The black and white shot would show the presence of an unidentified flying object (UFO) above the sky. It was enough for ufology enthusiasts to compare this strange shape to a flying saucer…

a disturbing photo

According to archive reports, this photo that went viral on social media was taken on September 4, 1971, by photographer and cartographer Sergio Loaiza, while it was flying over Costa Rica, to study the impact of a construction project on an area near the Arenal Volcano. The shot would have been immortalized using a 100Ib camera.

During his mission, Serge Loaiza took several photos of the surrounding forest and the lake below, at an altitude of 3,000 meters and at 20-second intervals, with his automated camera. Afterwards, when he was finally able to take a look at his photos, he was surprised to see appear on one of them a metallic disc that seemed to float in the air.

The photographer was never able to clearly identify the subject of this photo, taken at 8:25 a.m. today, due to lack of detail. However, many people who believe in the existence of extraterrestrial life forms are convinced that this is indeed a flying saucer. Moreover, this cliché would represent for them “the best UFO photo ever taken”.

Researchers seem to be divided

The theory that a flying saucer is actually seen in this photo has gained momentum since a member of the UAP Costa Rica research group acquired this archival piece and had it published in order to make it public. On Twitter, this man with the name Esteban Carranza explained his gesture:

I made this high res scan last year, met with people on the National Geographic Institute and tracked the technician in charge of the camera back in 1971.

But there’s no reason for the image to sit on my desktop. Disclosure is a team effort and everyone should have this image. https://t.co/pXUPOPVP4t

Remember that even if the object in the photo has succeeded in convincing ufology fanatics, many people obviously remain skeptical. This unidentified object is only visible in one of the photos in the series taken by Serge Loaiza. There is no sign of it in the other shots. The pilots and the members of the crew present on the flight in 1971 affirmed, for their part, to have saw nothing resembling a flying saucer on their excursion.

In an attempt to convince skeptics, UAP Media then explained in its press release that the photograph had passed through the expert hands of several researchers, such as Dr. Ricardo Vílchez or Dr. Richard Haines. These scientists would have certified that the image had not been subjected to double exposure or deliberate deterioration.

So, what do you think ? Do you believe that it is necessary to launch new ambitious projects as regards ufology, as planned to make the Pentagon in the past?
