This artist recreates iconic pop culture scenes with LEGO minifigures

Playing with LEGO minifigures isn’t just for kids. With these figurines and the famous little bricks, we can give free rein to our imagination to create scenarios. It’s in this project launched by the artist Brick Panda by deciding to recreate cult scenes from films or series.

Indeed, this Hungarian artist is a fan of LEGO and pop culture. He has therefore combined his two passions to offer us a series of photos featuring figurines in scenes from films and series known to all. He does not simply pose the figurines in front of a background because each composition requires between two and three hours of preparation (ranging from the creation of the configuration, to the framing of the photo, to the light). Finally, after the shot, he tackles a lot of work on Photoshop to retouch the shots, modify the expressions of the characters if necessary, adjust the colors, add effects and backgrounds.

Brick Panda doesn’t consider himself a professional LEGO photographer, especially since he has practically no equipment: he uses the lamps in his desk to light the scene and shoots with his iPhone. And the result is simply awesome! We let you discover his work below and if you want to follow him, you can subscribe to his Instagram account.
