The green Line is a magnificent film directed by Frank Darabont. As a reminder, The green Line is set in 1996 and it is the former head warden, Paul Edgecomb who tells us what happened in the 1930s after welcoming into his prison John Coffey, a colossally tall black man who was sentenced to death for the rape and murder of two young girls. Paul Edgecomb wants prisoners to live out their last moments peacefully, but Percy Wetmorea new goalkeeper, does not see it that way.
