This is Stormfront, who was brilliantly played by Aya Cash. In an interview with Metacritic, the actress confirmed that she was absent from the cast : “The Boys returns on June 3 and I will only be with you all to watch it, unfortunately. As a reminder, at the end of the season, Stormfront was partly charred by Ryan, the son of Becca and Homelander while using his nascent powers.
No, she’s not dead! What we found interesting is that, if you recall, she ages very, very slowly. So the best poetic ending for this character is that someone who believed so much in some sort of pure race finds themselves maimed and has to live with that for potentially centuries, a fate worse than death for them.
This statement casts doubt on a future appearance. If the now famous acolyte of Homelander will not return, she could redo hers later. In a fourth season? Unless Eric Kriple uses digital special effects (CGI) to make his face reappear on screen, during flashbacks next June.
On his side, Aya Cash said she was ready to come back if needed:
I had a wonderful experience with The Boys. I always signed for a year, so who knows? If the writers give me something to do, I’ll absolutely be there. I think the story of Stormfront was told very well, in terms of the arc of what happened, but if they want me back, I’ll be back in a second,” she said. share.
