Arnaud Klein, this name may mean something to you because this 34-year-old fan made the buzz last fall with the film Kaamelott. He challenged himself to see Alexandre Astier’s film the most times to hold a world record. After having been to the cinema 204 times, he had managed to beat an American who until now held the record with Avengers: Endgame by chaining 191 sessions. Today, Arnaud Klein’s world record has just been stolen from him with the latest Spider-Man, No Way Home.
A French record kept for only a few months
Indeed, before the Frenchman embarked on his endeavor to become the man who had seen a film the most times at the cinema, the record was held by Ramiro Alanis, who had seen the film 191 times Endgame At the movie theater. Finally, Arnaud Klein came to him steal the title on September 20 in Reims having watched the film 204 times Kaamelott – First Part. The young man of 34 years was therefore officially the new holder of this title having received the poster of his record from the Guinness Book of Records.
Except that Marvel has since released Spider-Man’s latest cinematic adventure, No Way Home, which exploded the worldwide box office upon its release. And the American Ramiro Alanis, previous record holder, decided to recover his title. And this March 12, 2022, it’s now done! The latter has already seen 284 times No Way Home At the movie theater.
