PS5: this new feature makes your games smoother and crisper, here's how to activate it

A few days ago, Sony announced that a new feature allowed lucky PlayStation 5 owners to see their games benefit from a serious refresh. This technology is called the VRR, and has just landed. What is that ? How to activate it? And what is the list of compatible games?

The vr?

Released on November 19, 2020, almost a year and a half ago now, the PS5 begins its story in a rather mixed way. To benefit from it, it is necessary to download update, then update the game concerned to be able to activate it. If your configuration can support it, VRR should already be enabled on your PS5 and will be set to “Automatic”. Otherwise, here’s what to do:

Such an option should a priori improve the gaming experience and optimize the visual performance of many console titles, without however acting as a revolution. The list of games supporting VRR should of course grow over time, but here’s a serious boost, especially for games like Call of Duty Vanguard, where the camera is constantly moving.
