Pixel War: discover the final result of this pixel war on Reddit

#pixelwar, #RedditPlace, hard not to have crossed paths with the Pixel Wars in the last few days. For 4 days, Reddit was stormed by millions of Internet users to try to fill a blank page. A community event resembling a world war that brought people together around pixelated creations.

a memorable war

After an edition in 2017, r/Place reopened its doors this year by allowing anyone with a Reddit account to put a tile on a blank canvas. 4 days of continuous creations where Internet users gathered in communities around the same country or the same streamer. France was masterfully led by videographers such as Kameto, ZeratoR and Etoiles, supported by a Swiss contingent made up of Tonton and Baghera Jones. Although Reddit is not necessarily very popular with the French, many Internet users have created an account just to participate in the event.

A great operation by Reddit which has thus been able to create a new unmissable event. And while some Internet users are now waiting for the next edition to honor their countries and their respective communities, it is time to dwell on this 2022 edition and especially its final result. It was on the night of April 4 to 5 that r/Place finally closed its doors, only allowing its participants to place white tiles. The participants therefore made the many creations of this event disappear by themselves. The end result can be seen below.
