Overwatch remains one of the most popular co-op shooters in recent years. But gamers grew weary to the point that a complete overhaul of the title was in the cards for Blizzard, with Overwatch 2. Following numerous communication problems, fans did not really understand what this new opus really was, between a real sequel or a simple DLC of the first game, with only a Player Against Environment (PvE) adventure. To make matters worsethe game’s development team had said that the two opuses will merge when it is released, with all free Player vs. Player content. Only Multiplayer content related to the adventure will be paid. This weekend, a sample of players was selected to participate in the game’s closed beta and see all the PVP changes made by Overwatch 2and the least we can say is that social networks quickly caught fire, between those who defend the changes and those who believe that nothing has really changed. The game is fun with friends but replaying OW is absolutely not my project. It will always have a place in my heart and it’s always nice to go back but I’ve changed a lot since 2015 and even if OW2 is a banger the magic isn’t there for me anymore.
