In the first seasonthe young Baki Hanma had voluntarily been locked up in an Arizona prison in order to compete with Biscuit Oliva, also known as Mr. Unchained, or “the freest man in the world”. These fights were also a way to address the issue of the notion of freedom, and how each character approached the concept. But in reality, all this is for Baki only a way to prepare for the confrontation against his father, Yujiro Hanma, aka the Ogre or current holder of the title of “the strongest creature on Earth”.

Also on the Netflix Anime Twitter account, a post shared yesterday reveals that the second season of Kengan Ashura is in production, sharing for the occasion a poster in which we find the main fighters presented in the first season. To date, the first season of the anime is divided into two parts on the platform, each comprising twelve episodes.
This anime follows the adventures of Ohma Tokitaa fighter nicknamed Ashura, who will be accompanied by the modest employee Kazuo Yamashita on the orders of the CEO of his company, Hideki Nogi, with the aim of participating in Kengan fights. Because for centuries now, big business disagreements have been resolved in the shadowsin fights where each company has its fighter who represents them, and whose winner wins the dispute in question.
