The new animated film that you will have to keep an eye on is called The Sea Beastand is produced by none other than Chris Williams, who is best known for having been the director of Volt, star in spite of himself (2008), New Heroes (2014), or even Moana: The Legend at the End of the World (2016). He also worked as screenwriter on the film Kuzco, the Megalo Emperor (2000), and on lilo and stitch (2002).
The Sea Beast will tell us about the adventures of Maisie Brumble, a young girl who will be discovered on the boat of Jacob Holland, a pirate and great monster hunter. The latter only wants one thing: to be able to catch the largest sea creature that is near the coasts. Only here it is: the life of pirates is not adapted to that of children, and Maisie will have to show courage to prove that she also has the right to her share of adventures.
