After several weeks, several months, even several years of waiting for some, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is finally available in our cinemas. The 5th film of phase 4 of the MCU is likely to make some disappointed but it does not derogate from the tradition of post-generic scenes. There are two to discover and if you are reading these lines, it is because you are asking yourself questions after having seen them. We will analyze all this in a few moments.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness offered us many surprises, but the film had not yet revealed everything, the first post-credits scene offers us the introduction of a new character not so unknown to fans.
A new love for Doctor Strange?
As the film ended on Doctor Strange who saw himself decked out with a 3rd eyethe first post-credits scene shows us the Doc on a walk in New York when suddenly a woman in a purple suit appears and asks him to follow her. This character played by Charlize Theron is none other than Cléa.
If you don’t read the comics you’ve probably never heard of her, and yet she’s a character close to the Sorcerer. Clea is none other than Dormammu’s niece, the big monster that Strange faced at the very end of the 1st movie. In the comics this woman reigned over the Dark Dimension for a time, but she also knew a romance with Stephen Strange while she was his apprentice. Clea’s powers are similar to those of Doctor Strange. It remains to be seen what direction Marvel Studios will take the character. Since the beginning of the MCU, studios have often rewritten the fate of certain characters. Does she come from another dimension? Why is she coming for Stephen Strange? We can’t wait to find out what’s next!
Bruce Campbell is back!
The second post-credits does not add anything to the future plot of the MCU, but it’s a nice nod from Sam Raimi to one of his friends. The hot-dog seller that we can see during the film and who ends up slapping himself in the post-credits scene is none other than actor Bruce Campbell.
This is a friend of Sam Raimi who is present in most of his films. He was moreover present in the three films of the trilogy Spidermanpresenter of Catch in the 1st part, doorman of the theater in the second opus and finally butler of the French/Italian restaurant (depending on whether you saw it in VO or VF) in the 3rd film.
Doctor Strange is already announced as soon to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it remains to be seen in which film or which series, even if we put a coin on season 2 of Loki.
